The City of Lumberton Water Plant is dedicated to providing quality drinking water to the citizens of Lumberton. The Water Plant staff is devoted to providing this service as cost effective as possible yet maintaining high quality water. It is our duty to protect the environment by conserving one of Earth's vital resources.

1992 The water plant is classified as a pulsator and/or up flow clarifier treatment plant. It is also state certified as an A-Surface facility, therefore it is manned by state certified operators.

Lumber River and 8 deep ground wells.
