Lumberton Earns 2025 Main Street America™ Accreditation
Lumberton is proud to be recognized as a Main Street America™ Accredited Community for 2025—a designation awarded to towns and cities that demonstrate a strong, ongoing commitment to downtown revitalization, historic preservation, and economic development.
This honor is awarded through a partnership between the NC Main Street & Rural Planning Center and Main Street America™, and reflects the ongoing collaboration between the City of Lumberton, Main Street Lumberton, and Friends of Main Street Lumberton. It also celebrates the efforts of the many volunteers, property owners, and local leaders working together to shape a downtown that works for everyone.
